The Indian Creek Invitational has become one of Nebraska’s finest amateur golf tournaments.
Tournament participants receive a practice round, two tournament rounds and a complimentary lunch during Saturday’s first round. Contact the golf shop staff at 402-289-0900 ext. 5 for additional information.
Started in 1997, this premier golf tournament has become a major point event on the Nebraska Golf Association annual schedule. The Indian Creek Invitational has grown to over one hundred fifty participants in recent years. Sign up early to participate and have the opportunity to win one of the four flights.
2010 flight winners were John O’Malley (Pawnee 3rd Flight), Maynard Smith (Arapahoe 2nd Flight), Michael Takacs (Cheyenne 1st Flight), and Andy Sajevic (Championship Flight). Andy Sajevic, current member of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte Golf Team, won with scores of 69-69=138. This is the second consecutive year Andy has won the tournament.
